Founder and CEO of Chief Impact, Alyssa Schroeder offers strategic consulting and fractional Chief Marketing Officer services. 

 

Alyssa has over 15 years of marketing & general management experience and is currently a Marketing Professor at the Ohio State University. 

 

Alyssa has a track record of proven success across dozens of multi-million dollar iconic American brands. Her experience spans multiple industries including consumer product goods (CPG), entertainment (toys and games), healthcare/health & wellness (HCP), and specialty retail. 

 

Alyssa most recently was the full-time Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Sales Officer (CSO) for the maker of the #1 Best Selling Card Game on Amazon and #2 in the US, more than doubling net sales in less than 2 years.

 

Prior to this work, she spent 6 years at Abbott Nutrition leading health & wellness brands such as PediaSure, Similac, and Pedialyte to 30% year on year growth, managing $400MM P&L and $40MM marketing budgets.

 

Alyssa also worked in Chicago at Tyson Foods, most notably growing the Hillshire Snacking platform from $50 to $80MM.

 

Prior to this Alyssa led American Eagle Outfitters brand strategy, including the Aerie "real" rebrand, including all loyalty CRM, direct mail, PR, and event programs.

 

Alyssa has her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University (ranked Top #5 MBA program) in Strategy & Analytics.

 

As mentioned above, Alyssa also teaches marketing strategy and capstone project courses as Adjunct Professor at the Ohio State University Fisher College of Business (Top #10 among US undergraduate business programs).

Marketing Professor

Alyssa is an Adjunct Marketing Professor at the Ohio State University Fisher College of Business,  currently ranked in the Top #10 for public undergraduate universities. Her courses include Marketing Strategy 4203 where she teaches business students how to build a strategic plan, STP (Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning), the 4 P's ( Place, Product, Price, Promotion) and more. Then she also teaches a Marketing Projects 4204 where she leads her students through a real-world marketing challenge with a real client.  Alyssa is also an alumni of the Ohio State where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors in  Marketing.

Kellogg MBA

Alyssa also has her MBA from the top MBA program in the world for marketing, Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management. There she majored in Strategy & Managerial Analytics and received full-time offers from Top-Tier companies including McKinsey & Company, the #1 management consulting firm in the world and Procter & Gamble, the blue-chip birthplace of CPG.
